Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support preparation of financial statements and reports
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic GAAP principles
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Technical Skills

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, reconciliations)
• Familiarity with ERP systems a plus
